You Can Help “Pound” Out Hunger in Marshall County!
Join us for our annual Community-Wide Food Drive on Saturday, May 16th, benefiting the Marshall County Neighborhood Center Food Pantry. Our goal is to collect 5,000 pounds of food to help feed families in our community — and we need your help to make it happen!
There are three ways you can participate. First, bring non-perishable food items to church over the next two Sundays. Every donation counts and helps us get closer to our goal. VIEW OUR DONATION LIST. Second, sign up below to help collect donations at Walmart, Martin's, Kroger, or assist with sorting donations at the Neighborhood Center. Your time and effort will make a meaningful impact. Third, you can help spread the word by passing out flyers to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers, encouraging them to join the effort.
Sign up today and be a part of making a difference in our community!
1. Hand out flyers and collect donations at the entrance/exits of Walmart, Martins, or Kroger. Volunteers will greet grocery store patrons and pass out a food "Donation List" as they enter, letting them know that any donations they give will benefit the Neighborhood Center. As patrons leave the store, we'll collect their donations.
2. Transport food donations in your vehicle from a designated location (Walmart, Martins, or Kroger) to the Marshall County Neighborhood Center and help unload your vehicle.
3. Unload and weigh food donations as they arrive at the Marshall County Neighborhood Center.
4. Sort and stock shelves as donations arrive at the Marshall County Neighborhood Center.
This is a great family-friendly project! Please note that children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent while serving.
Let’s bless the families of Marshall County and help fill the Neighborhood Center Food Pantry!
